I have read "The Confident Woman" & know Anabel Gillham personally, we attend the same church here in Fort Worth, TX. She is a wonderful lady & I learned so much from her book. I was lucky to call her a mentor for a spell & now am blessed to call her friend.

Please also consider dropping by her website at http://liftime.org

Lifetime Guarantee, by Bill Gillham, is also a wonderful book.

Welcome to Thursdays.

You've got some great books listed there! I have a book by Annie Chapman about a woman dealing with anger. The changing emotions book sounds interesting.

Am I the only commenter who has ever read Mere Christianity? Looks that way. That's the only book on your list I've read and thoroughly enjoyed. I read the Bounds book but had to force myself to, and the experience left me wanting.

I've never read anything by Beth Moore, and doubtr I will. Give me Anne Lamott. :) But I am impressed by the legion of followers Beth Moore has amassed through her popular writings and teachings.

Happy Thursday, and Happy Reading!

I just finished leading our ladies through the "Breaking Free" Bible study...it's incredible and can be so life changing if you really put the time and effort into it.
We can't wait to start another Beth Moore in the future.

They say don't judge the book by its cover but by the titles alone they seem to be very interesting books to read. I'm curious on your #6.
