Tackle It Tuesday

I finally accomplished my desk! It has been calling my name for 2 weeks now. I pulled all the papers off of it! That was a night mare in and of itself. When I stacked them on my desk chair to go through, the stack was - not kidding - a foot high!!

I stacked and filed old bills, put current ones together, stacked cards we've recived over the past couple of months aside to put in the scrapping boxes, trashed numerous envelopes, put several recipes in my recipe binder. And organized my Pampered Chef files that are still open (and by that I mean work still need on them, not physically open folders) beside my printer on the printer shelf. I now have a place to actually work on my desk so that I don't have to move my keyboard to do it.

That was my project for this week. I am loving this accountability for getting my self in gear to get something accomplished. I have a list going for the next few weeks: The entertainment center, the boys room, the girl's room, the pantry..... you get the idea!

Good for you! Paper is one of the hardest jobs to tackle, isn't it?

Awesome that you got your desk organized. It feels good, doesn't it?
You know...After 4 weeks 'working' with Janice on the tackling issue, I am claiming one area at a time...

That is awesome, give yourself a pat on the back, you did great :)

I should start writing a list too so I know what needs to be done :)

I'm so glad Janice started this, never has my house been so organized LOL

I REALLY need to get my desk cleared off, too. I have so many projects I want to work on and just having piles of stuff makes it hard to get anything done.

Great job! My Tackle it is up, too.

WooHoo!!! The desk is a tough spot to keep clean in our house and I SO need to get a recipe binder in order!!! You are going to have to share pictures of that binder with us at some point... :)

Bravo!

The desk and paper work is my next task . . .I think, or MAYBE I'll procrastinate one more week. It is pretty intimidating. So you inspire me to greatness!
